Dear Sir,
I am writing to humbly ask for a six months temporary transfer to the company's head office in Italy. As the branch head of marketing, this will give me the ample opportunity to learn from the team of experts scheduled to mentor staff at the headquarters from 1st June to 24th December 2019. I believe on my return, the knowledge gained will be of immense benefit to the branch inline with our "train the trainer policy"
Mr Jude Ofi, my deputy is well capable to stand in as the acting head of department during this period. I did brief him on this and he has promised to leave up to expectation. He was in charge of the department last year during my annual leave and he did very well. In case of emergency, I can always be reached on my mobile and email.
I respectfully solicit your assistance in this regard, as I promise to be a good ambassador of the branch. I would be grateful if my request is given a favourable consideration.
