You work for an international company, and would like to spend six months working in its head office in another country.
Write a letter to your manager. In your letter:
• explain why you want to work in the company’s head office for six months
• say how your work could be done while you are away
• ask for his/her help in arranging it
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear ..................,
Dear Mr. James,
I am writing this letter with regards to the post seen on our company job portal regarding training for six months with regards to revenue management at our company headquarters, London.
Recently, I got promoted as Assistant Revenue manager in our Mumbai based organization. So to enhance my skills and contribute more productivity towards the company, I believe the training which is conducted will be more fruitful.
I spoke with Jade, who is working as a Revenue Executive and she will be handling the work on behalf of me. I will be available on my official hand phone, if she need any assistance.
I would request you to provide my name for training purpose. I assure you that once my training gets finished, I will extend my working hours if there is any work pending.
I will be waiting for your positive response.
Yours sincerely,
Tim Frank
