Dear Ms. Mary,
I am the father of Alex who is a student of the fifth standard and I am writing to express my interest in joining the school excursion to Canada that you have planned for this year.
First of all, I would like to tell you the reason why I am interested to join you in the trip. I have already been to Canada several times before and I am quite used to the country's locals practices hence I thought my presence would be a great support to you and the teachers. Besides, I also have gone through the tour plan and most of the places are already been visited by me, so that will enable me to make ease your program.
In addition to the above, since I am already a parent of four, I have good experience in handling children. I aid teachers by monitoring the kids throughout the trip and also I will take care of their nutrition and medical needs.
I have heard that some other parents are also joining the trip. Would you mind sharing their contacts with me? I think it will help us discuss the plans ahead and serve much better. It will be of great help if you could organize a casual meeting sometime in school with teachers and fellow parents to review our understanding and plans.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
Akilan Palaniappan
