Your child is going on a three day school trip to another country. The head teacher wants to find parents to go with the group and you would like to go.
Write a letter to the head teacher. In your letter:
• Say why you would like to go on the trip
• Suggest what you could do to help during the trip
• Ask other questions about the trip
Dear Mr Sam,
I am John, father of Sophie William, who is an eighth standard student in your school. I am writing this letter to let you know that, as you are exploring parents, who could accompany your students on the International trip to France, I would like to nominate myself for this.
There are two main reasons that are strong enough to prove my eligibility for this task. Firstly, as I am a native French speaker, I can easily act as a translator between children and the French people. This would ease their stay in France. Also, as I have lived my childhood in Paris, I can take the kids around and show them places of their interests.
Moreover, I am aware that there is a tremendous difference between the cultures of the two countries, I will make sure that each student gets involved in most of the local activities and learn from their culture. In addition, I would also ensure their safety and security, along with this I would make sure that they have a proper diet and an adequate sleep.
To plan the tour, I would like to get some basic information from you like the number of students travelling, the departure date, agenda of travel and the tenure of stay.
Hoping to get a positive response from you.
Yours sincerely,
John William

Dear Sir/Madam,
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope that you are doing fine. I am writing to you with regards to the journey that is planned to visit Jordan in the first three days next week which I am encouraging my son to participate. Also, I am thinkning of joining your group during this trip.
Jordan is a perfect choice as it is a wonderful country which is locate in the heart of the middle east. I have been there for more than five times recently, therefore, I am familiar with pretty much all cities and famous places. That is being said, my job as a professional tour guide will facilitate any complication that you may arise within the visit.
I think that I can build up a tour plan for our visit that most of the students will fall in love unless you have already parepared one. Furthermore, I can recommend some places for outdoor activities so that students can get out of the buses and stretch their muscles with some games on the way. Take cops and robbers as an example for energetic an joyfull game.
With regard to the tour description that we recieved yesterday, what kind of transportation facility will be used? I recommend usinng Grey Hound buses because they have just launched a new fleet with brand new vehicles. Another question that comes into my mind is what is the breakdown of the fees that each students pays? I have a feeling that something is wrong. If I travel by economy airplane, it will be just as equal as the amount stated in the fees.
I look forward for joining you in this trip soon.
Yours Faithfully,
Kareem Jaradat
