Dear Mr. Wilson,
I am writing this letter in regards to the recent complain you had regarding the noise from my flat.
As you are aware, I have recently moved in my new flat, a lot of reparing and painting was to be done. When I moved a week ago, the flat was not in the best condition as it had leakages as well. My landlord, kind enough that he is, agreed to help with the repairs and modifications to the flat, which explains the constant noise of the carpenters and the drilling machines.
Please accept my sincere apologies for the same. I understand that the noise is quite disturbing to you to perform your daily chores but I will try my best to keep it down. This shall last only for another two more weeks. Although, be rest assured, you shall not have any more constant noise from my flat as most of the drilling work is done.
