At the turn of the 20th century, only one-tenth of the world’s population lived in cities. Today, this proportion makes half. There are certain reasons to that, which I am going to consider in this essay.
Undoubtedly, there are many advantages of living in busy cities. The first of them is greater work opportunities. This is the main reason why thousands of people leave their nests. Unfortunately, no one can guarantee you a well-paid job in a safe environment with decent working conditions and convenient shifts.
