There is a lack of students who study science subjects at university because of their bad publicity to be too hard at school finals. For instance, students can often be discouraged to study sciences since they think it will be difficult to get a sufficient score in order to be able to enter the university. Consequently, they simply do not have motivation to major in these subjects, and their reasoning is strongly related to the perception of their abilities. Another reason for this issue could be a lack of engagement in them. For example, if students become engrossed in science subjects during their school years, they are most likely to wish to keep studying them in the future. In fact, most science subjects are taught in a way that is too boring for the majority of students, which demotivates them to pursue in studying sciences.
