Nowadays, more and more older people who need employment compete with the younger people for the same jobs. What problems this causes? What are solutions?

Nowadays, we are living in a world where the struggle for jobs is a heated topic and often discussed. It is commonly believed that the number of older workers who need employment compete with the younger ones for the same jobs are growing up. While this trend could trigger some issues, several viable/effective solutions could be adopted to tackle them from both individuals and the government.
Rivaling/committing with the young, the older have to face up to two main problems. One of them could be the difference in ages. The fact that young candidates have the big advantages of applying for organizations even when the senior citizens have identical abilities and experiences, which mean that they do not have the chances to take the jobs. Another drawback that the elderly are ordinarily laid off from work because of the health requirements and the capability of adapting to the changes in the digital world.
Given the aforementioned setbacks, it is highly recommended that governments and older employees employ several remedies to rectify them. One of the effective solutions is that the authorities enact laws aimed at promoting businesses to protect the rights of the elderly. As the result, they have equal employment opportunities to demonstrate themselves. On the other hand, the older should develop their self-directed learning skills to keep up with technology in the workplace.
In conclusion, the age discrimination could result in some issues, yet there would be a number of feasible methods to solve the problems.
