The presence of technology in the classroom has become more and more apparent and offers students tremendous resources with which to supplement their education Given time technology will completely replace the traditional teacher in the classroom Do you

Nowadays, technology use has become the norm in various fields and education is not an exception. Used technology applications in teaching bring a number of significant benefits for learners and improve the quality of lecture. However, I disagree with the statement that technology will totally substitute the teacher’s role in the classroom.

Firstly, the teacher has the ability to adjust their syllabus to match their student’s capacity. In fact, the teacher will be able to combine easy lessons or separate the lecture structure in flexibility if their students are struggling to understand. However, this is beyond the proficiency of a computerized teacher, which is running and operating based on the preprogrammed setting. In view of that, technology will not displace the role of the teacher in the classroom.

Moreover, there are some conflicts and discrimination existed in the education environment especially classroom must be dealt with in harmony and not affected the students' emotion as well as self-esteem, whose a computerized teacher can’t solve as it don’t have ability to understand the feeling so as the teacher. This is of crucial importance when it comes to teaching children. A technology-based teacher can neither feel children’s sentiment when they have trouble in their life nor find out the solution to improve the situation immediately. Accordingly, the teacher is the key characteristic of the classroom.

In short, although technology has a great contribution in the benefit of in-class learning. It is lacking the ability to cater the student’s needs as well as assisting them towards success. Instead, it should be support for teachers and prodigious resources of information. Therefore, it is absolutely that technology will never supersede the teacher's mission in education field
