Is this a bad or good idea?
There is considerable emphasis placed on whether it is suitable to do part-time employment during University studies. Many students those who are studying at universities are struggling financially. Therefore, it can consider as a positive development. Let us analyse this further to have a better understanding.
In actuality, the lack of focus on studies can have a detrimental effect on the grades. Part-time jobs can distract students and may lead to unsatisfactory results. Additionally, there is a chance that students may stop their education and continue jobs which pay lucratively. Although this money is essential as a short-term income, a proper education, which could create a life-long income method, could terminate consequently. Moreover, notably, the younger crowd could be developed some bad addiction such as drugs, alcohol and other such habits when they do night shifts which are incredibly harmful to their studies and life.
Nevertheless, many students have proven that they can achieve their targets doing such jobs while studying. By having extra cash flow, they can invest more in extra courses and educational materials. On top of that, the practical experience which they receive while working in real-world can significantly benefit them when they are in the job market. Besides, nowadays, there are many companies which outsource their technical tasks as part-time work. Such jobs supply tremendous possibilities for pupils to improve their technical skills. An excellent example of this is the Google Summer of Code, which allows students to develop their innovative products while paying handsomely.
Furthermore, university-level students should be able to differentiate the good and the bad in society and should have the ability to use part-time opportunities for their benefits.
To recapitulate, although there are some negative sides of working while studying, extra cash, experience and available opportunities are much advantageous.
