News stories on TV and in newspapers are very often accompanied by pictures. Some people say that these pictures are more effective than words. what is your opinion about this?
TV shows and newspapers provides virtual reality these days. You can know what's happening in every corner of world just by sitting at your home. In earlier days media also played vital role in spreading awareness but these days it not just provides overview but also provides complete information in depth. So how media is able to achieve this?
Nowadays along with story they provide pictures and small videos of event. As there us a saying pictures speak more than words. Having these photographs of event occurred or may be images of how the incident took place will give more, broader idea to audience, For example, pictures or posters of movie gives more idea to people whether the movie will be good or not, whether the characters playing the role will justify it or not. Also to give it a second school of thought, not just pictures but colored pictures gives even more impact. Human brain will store pictures very easily and for longer time than text.
Survey says that pictures shown for any unlikely event gives deep sorrow to its readers even when they are sitting thousands miles away. In my opinion, we must have pictured in news or television shows. Also it is said that in near future videos are going to take over images which may give more impact to intensity. Such days are not far when you will see this evolution.
