Some feel that school uniforms make schools safer for students, create a "level playing field" that reduces socioeconomic disparities and encourage children to focus on their studies rather than their clothes.
Others say school uniforms infringe upon students' right to express their individuality, have no positive effect on behavior and academic achievement.
Discuss both sides & give your opinion. Write at least 250 words.
Many assert that schools should have same dress codes for all the students to impel the equality and simplicity in schools; however, others opine that educational institutions should not impose any constraint on uniforms to let learners articulate their preferences. This essay shall delineate both the concepts and give my perspective.
On the one hand, specific school dresses would lead to no comparison between students' apparels. Limitations of wearing casual clothes would diminsh chances of peer pressure as some might wear branded garments and others may come in decent ones due to their less affordability. Thus, there would be no competition and bullying due to a particular uniform policy, which would assist students to focus on their studies dramatically. For instance, learners divide and render groups basis their apparels and do not confabultae with others who wear less exorbitant clothes, which have a deleterious impact on marginalized students' learning and confidence.
On the other hand, several states that a schoolchild ought to have the freedom to dress-up in any way it likes due to the democracy. If schools give the liberty to wear desired uniforms to students, they could be motivated all the time as they would be in their best apparels. Consequently, such a code of conduct would assist learners to be enthusiastic in schools and do well in acquiring education. To illustrate, students wear their favourite garments which make them comfortable while attending classes that proliferates the efficacy of their learning.
In conclusion, individuals, irrespective of the age and gender, have the right to do things as per their convenience, but students should have the same school uniforms to avoid any discrimination among them and be determined only towards their education.
