You have just spent a weekend at a friend’s house. When you returned home, you discovered you have left a coat containing some belongings in his house.
Write a letter to your friend telling him that you left the coat. Tell him what the coat looks like, where you think you left it and what was inside it. Make some suggestions about how to get it back
Dear John,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of your health and spirit. It was a good time which I had spent with you the last weekend at your house. It will always remain a memorable time in my life. I’m writing this letter to tell you that when I reached my home I find my coat was missing.
Today morning when I was getting late to catch a train, in the rush, I left my coat. The coat is of black leather which has two side pockets and one pen pocket on the upper left side. I think the coat is still hanging behind the door of your room. There are very crucial things in my coat left pocket that is my identity card, driving license and my office diary.
I’d request you to send my coat to my address. You can either hand over my coat to my friend who is coming to my home next Monday or you can pack that coat in the box and courier me to my residential address.
Looking forward to having a great time with you again.
Yours truly,
Harsimran Singh
