The world we live in has changed dramatically, so has the entertainment industry. With the development of new technology, movies and televisions have become more vivid and appealing. Nevertheless, views differ considerably when it comes to the issue of whether movies and televisions do more harm than good to young people's behavior. based on my personal experience and actual observation of life, I believe that movies and shows are conducive to the young.
First and foremost, movies and televisions help people relax. Never in history have human beings been as busy as we are today. Nowadays young people have been overwhelmed by their studies, work and life issues. Under this circumstance, it is a real luxury for the young to spare a few days traveling around. moreover, the tiredness from the trip also takes a great amount of time to be fully recovered. In contrast, watching a great show lying on the sofa is a great way to relax. moreover, watching movies together with friends is also a great way of relaxation. The fascinating story and the stirring scene provides a perfect getaway for one to escape his normal life for a short period of time.
Another reason that drives me to indicate such an opinion is that by watching videos, people learn lessons about life. there are many informative good shows available that will expand the young's horizon and encourage them to think deeply. The tv show "Black Mirror", which is about how technology will greatly influence our daily life, is one such show. it provides many unexpected perspectives about what the future life will be like. Every time I watch it, not only I will be shocked at how amazing the story is developed, but also exchange with my friends about the lesson I learn from the show, such as how bad social platforms can do to our life.
Admittedly, there are some bad shows. However, we can all negate all the positive sides of the movies and tv based on a few bad examples. By setting up a higher threshold for the movie industry and promoting the good ones, movies and tv will bring more benefits to young people.
