Both the reading passage and the lecture argue about the behavior of the elephant. The author mention to the three ability of these huge mammals. However, the professor finds all the idea dubious and present some evidence to refute them all.
First of all, the author claims that elephants can be aware of their death time so they going to near water to find a place to be alone die. while the lecturer challenges this point, he mentions that due to their teeth have destroyed during the time they need a soft vegetable to eat so they choose the vegetable in water. this phenomenon caused to find elephant near water.
Secondly, the author asserts that elephants are an artist and they can painting and also they can recognize the objects. On the other hand, the lecturer refute this argument and thinks that they are just drow some line and haven't any idea about the concept since the trainer learn them by touching their ear to drow a line. so they couldn't be an artist.
Finally, the reading passage states that elephants fear from the Mice. in contrast, the professor brings up the idea that they react to unfamiliar animal nut just Mice.
To some up, the two perspectives differ from the ability of the elephant which showed we need to scrutinize more precisely.
