First, it is doubtful that computerized voting machine would enable everyone to vote easier. Despite of those who master in computer, voters who do not expertise in computer or unable to afford a computer inevitably exist. For these specific voters, utilizing computer for voting could result in additional constraints.
Second, utilizing computer system to count votes will not eliminate errors; while it might potentially cause critical mistakes. As a matter of fact, computer system is programmed by human, which introduce the probability of the emergence of human errors. In addition, due to the system centralize all the votes together for processing, once an error occurred, it could cause numerous votes being lost.
Regarding to the application of computer technology in banking transactions, one must aware that such system wasn't initially flawless. The functioning frequency of the transaction system greatly outnumbered the voting system, which is only enabled once a year. Therefore, the transaction system obtained sufficient debugging opportunities to achieve its current stability; however, a testing and improving for voting system is far less sufficient for it to be used in a election event with such an importance.
