elephants behavior

Essay topics:

elephants behavior

The lecture states that many people believe that elephants have a surprising behavior and provides three reasons. The professor explains that there is a misunderstanding about elephant's behavior and refutes each of the author's reasons.

First, the reading states that elephants are aware when they going to die, because they apart from their heard and their bodies are found near of waters. The professor refutes this point by stating that all elephants are not aware of when they going to die. She mentions that when elephants are getting older they have difficulties to chew and they have to eat soft vegetation, this kind of food are near of waters and this is the reason that elephants die near of waters.

Second, the article claims that elephants have artistic abilities, because they are taught to paint with the paintbrush hold by their trunk. However, the professor contends that because she says that there is an issue of whether the elephants have abilities to paint or no. She mentions that people uses strokes in the elephant's ears to make the elephants learn a patron, repeating the touching on the elephant's ears many times is the way they will learn the patron of paint and not because they have abilities of paint it self.

Finally, the reading avers that elephants are afraid to mice. The lecture opposes this point by standing that mice are unfamiliar to the elephants and that is the reason of their reaction. She mentions that elephants that live in the zoo are not afraid of mice.
