Fossil Fuels
The reading and the lecture is about fossil fuels. Both of them gives information is about fossil fuels such as what they are and how they can form. They are the skeleton of the ancient plants or animals. They can describe also coal, oil, and natural gas and these are the energy for many purposes. However, the professor explains that they cause irreparable damage on the Earth.
First, the reading claims that fossil fuels cause global warming because of emission. The professor agree this point by saying that the fuels are risky. He states that the fuels cause air pollution, so its effect the Earth's atmosphere and cause increasing global temperature. Moreover, he also mention that they cause the natural disaster such as flood and acid rains.
Second, the article state that there is no any economical alternative for fossil fuels. The professor opposes this point by explaining that it is more expensive in terms of researching the place of fuels and extract from the ground. Many countries spend millions of dollars for extracting fuels in deeper side of the ground.
In brief, the article is mention that there is not any other choice and still continue to use them. On the contrary, the professor states that we can search another energy sources.
