Glass for Bird
The main idea for both reading and lecture is the way to keep the bird from glass. The author of reading believes that they need change the kinds of glass. The lecturer cast doubt the points that the author said. The lecture thinks that changing the glass type is not effective.
First of all, the author points out that changing the window to one way glass will be good by the bird cannot see inside. The point challenged by the lecturer. He said that it can be mirror for them. It can be danger again.
Secondly, the reading says that the window need to be colorful which is hard to see for bird. The lecturer rebuts that the reading made. He thinks that it is not benefits both people inside the building and birds. The colorful painting can be looks like hole for bird and it makes dark inside.
Finally, the reading wants to put the magnetic function for the windows to signal the birds. But the listening says that the birds use the magnetic signal when they are on long trip. By using the eyes for short trip, he thinks that the magnetic window cannot be great solution.
