Jane Austin
The lecturer says that the teenager inthe potrait is not jane austin and evideence of it as her potrait is questionable. he says that the potrait teenager may be connected nwith the family of the her, but loosely and it hardly convincing that it depicts her pictuire of the teenager.
First, The speaker doubts the authencity of the painting on the basis of that the family member of her recognize her the lady at the painting. he added when she was seventeen years old not a single family member of her had seen her. so, it is hard to believe the evidence present in the passage.
Second, the passage states that the girls in the potrait resembles the sketch of Cassandra which is the real sketch of the Austin. However, the lecturer refutes this point bys aying that There may be other relatives of the Austin which seems like her at that time.
Third, The speaker articulates that the canvas uses in the painting is not match the age with austin when it was potrayed. The evidence of the stamp at the back shows that the canvas was used when jane was twenty seven years old which much older than the girl who has been painted in the4potray.
