The rules that societies today expect young people to follow and obey are too strict.
Nowadays young people involved in many areas such as politics, educations, social medias and so on. Youngs for being new members of societies taking an important duties since they are participating in different rules. Nevertheless, they are doing a great jobs and we always hear from news about them. Considering that everyone have different prespective toward people rules and influences in the society, youngs are doing a great job. Many people believe that rules are so strict for young members to follow. To me, as a young person, I thing so because I don't follow any specific or predefined rules. There are arguments that we should consider when we are talking about young ages.
First of all, young people are not experienced people and rules are just controling them from seeing out side of the box. Rules could make things more complicated and different for a person that didn't tasted why that rule is stablished and more importantly why she/he has to follow it. In one hand, we can learn from mistakes and on the other hands, there are rules that doesn't allow us to make mistakes. However, this rules are for a good reasons, but they are taking an important experiences from us. Once I remember that Rajy Jackson, a baseball player, who failed a lot in his own career, but people dont remember the fails, people remember home runs. He was the best player in the world. He just started to gain experineces by making mistakes (failures). In that way he learned, got experiences. As I am seeing my self and rules, they are not allowing me to get what I want. As a result, they are too strict to be followed by me or any young person.
Secondly, being as young member of society, we may define rules for own sake and in this period of the time. While these rules are well developed, it doesn't mean that they are suitable for next generations. This brings to my second point about rules, those rules may become out-date by the time of definitions, since new views, technologies, and social believes may change from one decade to another decade or from one generation to another. I make things hard for young peopleto obey those rules so new defnitions required for each generations based on their status and social needs. It hard to see rules like, everybody should vote, or everybody should study books to take exames. This kind of rules are not quite well in this area since we have human rights to decide whatever we want to vote or not, pluse there is planty of video tips in the YouTube to learn in less time in an efficient way than speding weeks or months to study a book. As you can imagine how it make followings so difficult.
To sum up, I am truly believe that rules are stricted and we following them is so hard for our future due to the fact that they are disabling us from thinking out of box and they are go old to deal with our needs
- Young people today have no influence on the important decisions that determine the future of society as a whole 70
- It is more important to keep your old friends than it is to make new friends 66
- The ability to maintain friendships with a small number of people over a long period of time is more important for happiness than the ability to make many new friends easily 70
