Technology has revolutionized the world that we live in. Nowadays even the poor people in the western world has access to technology. Therefore machines have become a reality of our daily lives. When they were first brought to the Great Brittan they revolutionized the economy, even though the workers didn´t like it and tried to destroy it, because they were scared that they would be unemployed because of it. But what actually happened was was not an increase in unemployment but an increase of the life level of the workers that didn´t had to do does exhausting dutties anymore and could be transferred to desk more often. In my point of view, I prefer to use machines to do the work. For example when doing a school work or assay, using a computer can correct grammatical errors, and doesn´t have the problems of calligraphy, sometimes associated with hand-writing. Machines can also be faster than humans and can work longer hours and do hard operations with almost no error and no tiredness. For instances, when writing a book if one has to check word by word it would take ages and a lot o effort in comparison with the automatic spell checker of a computer. The other important aspect that I already mention that, is proofreading or absence of error, human being often do a lot of mistakes for a lot of reasons, while machines don´t. One person can be tired, depressed or simply unfit, while a machine has long as it got an energy source is always good for the job. For all these reasons I think technology is here for the taking and everybody should get used to it and embrace it as it can improve one´s life.
