The reading states that representatives of power companies disagree with limitation rules for handling and stroing coal ash. however, the professor refutes this point by stating that it have several beneficial seting striction for activities of companies.
First, the author asserts that always effective environmental regulations exist and it is not necessary. Notwithstanding, the lecture conteds this point by explaining that harmness to surounding can be very catastrophic by companies. In addition, government should enact new law for other ways in order to prevent damage to environment such as new strict to confin leaking coal ash to soil and canataminating the surrounding environment.
Second, drastic rules can discourage the recycling coal ash into other products like generating power plant. however, the lecture rejects this point by stating that it is not indispensable. she says that we should point out how people respond this points.
Third, the passage declars that new regulation impact on prices of products directly and cause them to become expensive. While the professor agree with this part of the author's statement, but she thinks the result of these enactments is very significant and worth. she is sure that if people know this price is not matter as opposit of beneficial, they should appreciate these regulations.
