Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they challenge the specific points made in the reading passage.

The reading and the lecture both talk about the colonization with asteroid. The author believes that this colonization option has a lot of advantages for a number of reasons. The lecture casts doubt on the claims made in the article.
First of all, the author points out that the gravity of the asteroid which is very low. It’s also elaborated that the low gravity make spaceship to land easier and safer than landing on the earth. This point is refuted by the lecture, he says that the low gravity can cause a lot of health problem. Furthermore, he argues that the human bones and muscle density will decrease due to the low gravity. Next, the passage points out that some asteroids can become rich by transporting valuable elements and precious metals that are relatively rare on Earth, such as gold and platinum. Therefore, the asteroid colony would be extremely profitable and a good source of these raw materials. The lecture rebuts this argument. The lecturer points out that it could cost more because the transportation price will be expensive. Furthermore, he points out that it can decrease market price.
Next, the author points out that asteroids are a good option for colonization because some of them would be very easy to reach. There are a number of asteroids that periodically come within or near Earth's orbit. The lecturer against this point. He says that the earth is orbiting, so it will be difficult for them to come back when the earth is away from them.
In conclusion, the lecture and the reading are both about the colonization with asteroid. The professor effectively challenges the claims made in the article.
