Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they challenge the specific theories presented in the reading passage.
Both the main topic of passage and the lecture is to discuss whether materials could relate to remains of blood vessels, red blood cells, and collagen matrix. The author argues about there are some reasons which show that approves these remains, while the professor, in contrast, not only refutes the author's claims but also asserts that these reasons are skeptical, on a number of accounts elaborated upon here under. To commence with, both the passage and the lecturer discuss soft, flexible organic substance inside the channels. The author claims that the presence of these soft material related to remains of the actual blood vessels of T.rex
. The professor contradicts this idea by asserting that the presence of soft, flexible substance is not necessary related to the T.rex
. Furthermore, he adds that after the death of animals, some bacteria colonize inside the hollows in the bone and produced such these organic materials. Thus, these remains left by bacteria colonize inside the bone's channels. In addition, both the writer and the speaker argue about the presence of sphere inside the bone. The author points out that this sphere could relate to the remains of red blood cells. The speaker, on the other hand, states that researchers found the bone of another animal in the same place of this bone. They did not found any red blood on this animal, thus it is not possible the sphere related to red blood cells. In addition, he says that the sphere reddish color made by some reddish minerals. The last allegation of the author against which the professor states is that the presence of collagen on the bone. The author states that these collagen could relate to the T.rex
as the main component of living bone tissue. The lecturer claims that the collagen could not preserve in a long time. This bone back to 70 million years ago and it is obvious that this collagen related to the much more recent source. It is possible that it related to the hand of researchers who handling the bone.
