The United Kingdom has a lot of human settlement. But the author of the article thinks that there are many issues about protecting old cultural artifacts. However, the lecture has a different opinion about it.
First, the article thinks that many valuable artifacts will be destroyed since many houses will be built because of the growing population of the UK. But the lecture thinks that this isn’t a problem because build a new building has a lot of steps, one of them is to check if there is any precious artifacts under the ground. Second, article thinks that the archaeologist doesn’t earn money and don’t have financial support. The lecture said that the company which build the house will support the archaeologist. At last, the article said that it’s hard for archaeologist to find jobs. But the lecture states that this kind of service will provide them a good job.
