teamwork

Essay topics:

teamwork

The article and the lecture both deal with having a group of people working together as a team on projects. whilst the author thinks this is a good idea for three specific reasons. the lecturer opposes the author's claim. In his opinion, the arguments do not hold water.

first, the author claims that working in a group enhance more knowledge, better outcome, and solutions as the group share ideas and responses. furthermore, the author stated that creative ideas come out of group working cause they all have responsibility together no one to take the risk alone. in contrast, the lecturer argues that as there are free rides -as he called them- those people don't participate with the group and take the credit with them.

second, the author mentioned that the person who participates in the process is more noticeable, their voice in making decisions and taking the lead made them highly significant. On the other hand, the lecturer opposes that, he believes that recognition of the work goes to the whole group which is the opposite of what someone who works harder than others will want.

finally, the author stated that the person will be known more significantly and his abilities will shine brighter on teamwork, he asserts that results can be more far-reaching and have a greater impact through teamwork. as opposed to the author the lecturer holds that projects don't move well on teamwork as they need more meetings to set one opinion. he highlights that some are more influential than others. the influencers who have significant personalities their words go better than others even if their ideas don't work. this ends up sometimes, with wrong results. project failure goes to the whole group.
