The passage and the lecture posit two opposite view on the science of archeology which is concerned to examine the archeological site and artifacts on Britain. While the passage states that archeological study and many archeological sites are affected due to lack proper regulations and human's constructional activities, the lecturer on the lecture counter that and says that new guidelines is already implemented in 1990 by the government and the situation is not like the passage described.
To begin with, the passage states that new construction building doesn't follow any rules when they construct a new building. And when they gigging for the foundation they found lots of archeological artifacts but they didn't care to preserve it. On the other hand, the lecturer refutes this point and says that new guidelines required every constructional site to be examined before by the expert archeologist and if they find any archeologically valuable sites they made a plan to protect and collect those artifacts. Therefore, no archeological artifact never get destroyed.
Nest, the passage has another view that financial support for the archeological research is not sufficient and it is mostly funded by government fund which is not adequate. In contrary, the lecturer states that new regulations allow the construction company to pay the fund for excavating an archeological site within the construction area. And for this regulations researcher are not hindered by the lack of financial resource they needed.
And finally, lack of job opportunity is another big reason that many students don't interested to pursue his career as an archeologist. Whereas, the lecturer says that new regulations open new job opportunities because now there is no obstacle to excavate an archeological site because of the new regulations. And for this, new job opportunities are created like an expert archeologist who needs to research, documentation and article writer for the new archeological findings and so on.
