The article show that four days work is beneficial for employee and company in the role of improving work qualities and saving money for more employee. In contrast, the lecture argue differently as working four days a week will make the company lost more money than five days work on additional workers. The compensation for more extra weekend, in the article, it supports that the results of new policy is it will lower the cost of error tasks which make by hard work employee. However, the lecture oppose to the idea, even though it will lower the cost of employment because they can pay lesser to eighty percent of their common salary. It also require the company to hire more worker to do the remained works of those four days workers who left some tasks. The lecture disputes that they need to spend more money in more health insurances, work space, and computers. In compare, four day will wast more money than normal five days jobs
Four days work is beneficial from contribution of work and lower unemployment, from the article. In return, company will responsible for more payment in additional health care and resources like computers as mention above.
The article suggest that when worker have more free time, they tend to be more happy because they have chances to spend time for their life such as family. Conversely, the lecture tells that fewer works can decrease worker's capability to work on their tasks and it is harder to improve their quality, work experiences, and future promotion since company incline to chose higher experienced worker from five days worker than four day worker.
As there will be a lot of negative consequences in payment and employment quality, the lecture recommends two solutions and consideration for worker to keeping works to be done properly. The company need to ask their employee to work over time to make sure that their work will be finished on time if they work just four days a week.
