TPO-18 - Integrated Writing Task

Recently, there has been a ton of debate as to the extinctions of some spectrum of plants and trees. More specifically, in regards to the passage, the writer puts forth the idea that TT is in the edge of becoming extinct and there are 3 ways to support this idea. In the listening passage, the lecturer is quick to point out there are some serious flaws in the writer’s claims. In fact, the professor believes that reasons are not satisfactory enough to accept, and address, in detail, the trouble with each point made in the reading test.

First and foremost, the author of the reading states that one of the way that can be useful to preserve these type of trees id by re-establishing in the same location that were before. Some professional in the same field, however, stand in firm opposition to this assertion. In the listening, for instance, the professor states that so many of those area’s climate is changed over time. She goes on to say that this change in the climate happened in large scale and has changed some mist places and turn them into dry lands. Also he point out that global warming influenced a lot of these drain lands.

One group of scholars, represented by the writer, think that it would be great idea to move them into new locations. Of course, though, not all experts in this field believe this is accurate. Again, the speaker specifically address this point when she posits that this change in location could have an unpredicted consequences and to illustrate that point, she use an example in which some people changed the location of some trees in the past and that tree spreads out and kill some of other trees in that person which there were endanger of extinction.

Finally, the author wraps his argument by asserting that it is possible to preserve them in some research center. Not surprisingly, the lecturer takes issue with this claim by contending that because of the diversity and population of this type of tree, it would be impossible to collect all of them into some research center and moreover, these type pf endanger species could not resist disease in some research center.
