The issue both the reading and the listening focus on is batteries evidence, but the listening casts doubt at three main points
At the first point, the reading states that batteries are usually attached with electricity conductors. But there is no evidence that shows the existence of them. According to the listening, the founders of vessels are not archaeologists. For this reason, there could be metal wires located nearby the vessels, but the founders find them unimportant.
At the second point, the reading believes that there are other copper cylinders with the shame shape of these inside the jars. But they are not used as batteries. On the contrary, the listening argues that they can have lots of function. People can realize that these can be used as batteries over time.
At the last point, the reading mentions that there was no device that relied on electricity. Therefore, the batteries were useless for ancient people. However, the listening confirms that batteries could have some values. They can be used in healing. In addition, people could show the magical things to others with these.
