Conversely, the listening challenges the points. One specific contradiction is doctors who adopt electronic medical record still have to keep the paper records for emergencies or legal purposes. So as a result, doctors who use this approach still pay for storage cost associated with paper based record. In addition to that, using the electronic records cannot eliminate errors given that doctors still using pens and paper while examining patients, then the data will be entered to the computers by the office staff. Finally, access and using medical record information is restricted by the privacy laws in the United States of America. Thus, the doctors who want to get any medical information should ask for a permission from the patients; moreover, patients can block the use of their medical records for any purposes other than their own medical treatment.
