Having revised both of the sources, the subject of both the passege and the lecture is Humback whales which should migrate for food and moting purpose. The issue is how they find their direction when they migrate. Unlike listenig passege, the autors states that Humback whales used stars for navigating.
Firstly, Unlike the listening passage, the reading passege says that humback whole, whose brains have a high level, is intelligent to use stars. the listening passage, on the other hand, says that also the other animals can benefit from stars for searching their way so it doesnt mean that humback whole are enough intelligent.
Secondly, the lecturer says that humback whole emmigrate in the straight lines. For instance, many birds and the other terreatrial creaturs use physical landmarks for migrating. The proffesor reject this idea. He says that they use generally earth magnatic fielt.
Thirdly, the reading passage argues that humback whole has a special behavier whis is observed floating straight up for minutes at a time. This behavier awere of spy-hopping which is seemed so less animals. The speaker , however, disagrees with this point of view.
