TPO 52-integrated writing task
From the reading passage, it proposes that asteroids are a planet that better than Mars or Moon to set up a colony for human to live or work. How ever the lecturer proposes counterpoint to revert the outcome that the reading passage provided.
To begin with, the reading mentioned about the low gravity that unique to asteroid due to the size of the it, thus the spacecraft would be easy to take on and take off and the cost of fuel would be less for the trip back to earth. however, the lecturer make the point of many risks that could happened such as health issues. Losing bone density and muscle mass as a long-term condition would not benefit human. living in the low gravity environment could cause the significant health issues that we could not miss it.
Moving on, the reading passage propose that human can set up a mining company and get profit from the gold and platinum. however, the lecturer brings about the cost of supporting the mining group could be a huge problem. Also the transporting method to taking the precious minerals back to earth, thus the profit would be less than thought.
Finally, the reading passage proposed that the asteroid are closer to earth, so it would be easy to get back to earth. The lecturer mentioned about that the orbit path is unpredictable, probably the distance between asteroid and earth are much far away.
