The main topic of both the reading and the lecture is about four days work in a week with paying less money rather than five days work in a week. The writer provides benefits of this idea, however, the lecturer refutes each of them.
First of all, the author suggests that followers of this privilege have more time to rest, due to their mistake in the company and their costly error decrease. In contrast, the professor states that this way forces the company because of need much more worker that require training course, official space, and extra equipment such as a computer.
Secondly, the writer says according to this option the number of unemployed reduce. Nevertheless, lecturer's opinion is that it falls down the unemployed rate, but the worker follows the works that are easy to get and increase the expectation.
Finally, the passage mentions that this idea causes employers to have more time with their family to enjoy and leisure. While the speaker rebuts them by saying, more free time causes the low quality of life, lose the job, and tire work.
