To begin with. The author argues that the use of electronic medical records will reduce costs. The article mentions that the electronic records will require large amount of storage space. This specific cliam is challenged by the lecturer. She states that doctors will use paper and then enter the papers to the system.

Secondly, The author points out that using electronic records will help preventing erros. The writer states that the standardization of forms and legible coumputer fonts will minimize human errors. The lecturer, however, rebts this claim by saying that electronic recordees will not help prefenting errors. Moreover, she states that the staff will enter the records to the cpmputer off the doctors writing, which will not solve anything.
