It is obvious from the bar chart, in each of the given years, the global sales of CDs were by far the highest.
According to the bar chart, in 2000, the global sales of CDs were on the bottom of the list,at well over 30 $ bn. The figures for DVD/video and Games software were nowhere near as high as that of CDs, at just under two tenths $ bn and just over one tenth $ bn in turn.
After decreasing gradually to 34 $ bn between 2000 and 2001, the global sales of CDs dropped marginally to nearly a third $ bn at the end of the period. By contrast, the one for DVD/video increased slightly to around one fifth from 2000 to 2001, with the figure rising substantially to approximately a third $ bn by the end of the period. The global sales of DVD/video remained almost unchanged between 2000 and 2001. Over two years, the figure for DVD/video improved to almost 20$ bn.
