In this set of material, the reading passage is about a new technique used in advertising called buzzing; in which companies hire people, buzzers, to advertise the product through people they know. The author gives some reasons this technique is harmful and deceivingly. In the listening the student who is actually a buzzer disagrees with the reasons mentioned and explains why.
First, the buzzers are not liars. Companies find people who use their product and like it and hire them as buzzers. So, buzzers really believe the service is good and they're fund of that. They don't lie when they advertise, they just distribute what they really think.
Second, people don't get mislead by the buzzers. They don't accept everything they hear without getting sure about it. They ask about everything, the price, how long they used it, why they like it and so many other questions. So, they don't trust without asking and searching about things they are suspicious of. If they don't get persuaded they easily don't buy the product.
Last, buzzers don't destroy civilization. Buzzers are real consumers whom are satisfied. So, if the product is bad, the company cannot find anyone to hire. In contrary, the student thinks buzzers are trustful and open to people when they introduce something with a good material to them.
