You find that your study load is too heavy. Write a letter to your college teacher explaining why you need to withdraw from two courses. Ask if it is possible to obtain a refund.
Dear Mr. Johns
My name is Max Gordon, I enrolled on the courses provided by the local school of architect where you working. I am a Ukrainian citizen and English is not my native language. My studying program started two weeks ago. There are 5 main fields of studying and two of them are quite difficult for me. As I said, I am originally from Ukraine and this is the first time of my studying abroad. In spite of the fact, that I obtained high score in English test, it still problematically to comprehend the information, which I receive during the lectures from our tutors. I think, that the best solution of this problem is halting my History and Economics courses in order to complete Math, Physics and Chemistry. And I will get back to study those two subjects, when I improve my ability to understand English speech fluently.
If it is possible, I want to ask you to let me continue the studying without two mentioned courses and refund my studying fees for them. I have a same credit card, which I used to pay before the courses have started and would be very pleased, if you refund money on this card.
Thank you in advance for considering my problem, I hope I will able to continue my studying with the desirable conditions and look forward to hearing back from you.
Yours sincerely,
Max Gordon
