The table illustrated the proportion of five countries’ expenditure on divergent products. Data recorded in 2002, which involved Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey.
Apparently, the spending percentages descended from left to right. Food/Drinks and Tobacco took the highest amount of national consuming in every countries, Italy had the smallest spending amount in this group of 16.36%. 16.36% of Italian consuming for principal needs were still 1.5 times larger than the highest data in fashion spending. The “Leisure/Education” consuming group consumed the lowest spending of every residents, for the index varied only between 1.98% and 4.35%
Turkey’s residents were reported to spend much more than the rest in the first category, with 32.14% of disbursement for basic human demands. On the other hand, Italy, appeared to be an economical nation for those items in first group with the least amount, seemed to lavished the largest proportion on clothes and footwear. The data measured was 9.00% and approximatedly 1.7 times higher than Sweden’s, the countries shared the lowest index in this group. It is reasonable to such kingdom of fashion. For the last category, Turkey once again pioneered in the spending for study as well as leisure. The spending for personal evolution in Turkey was 4.35% and even 1.17% higher than the consumed quantities in Sweden – the nation belong to Scandivania, an areabest known for the its human development.
According to the table, though the need of each country’s residents varied, there was a transparent trend that the need of fundamental items took the largest proportion, then fashion demands and finally anthropotic expenditure. Turkey was the most generous nations for having the biggest percentages in the first and last group expenditure.
