The graph below shows the consumption of fish and different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004
The line graph compares the consumption of four different types of food in a European nation over a 26 years period from 1979 to 2004.
It is clear from the line graph that the amount of fish consumed was by far lowest during the research period. Additionally, while the quantities of Beef, Lamb, and Fish both fell, there was a significant rise in the figure for chicken.
In 1979, the consumption of Beef was highest, at more than 200 grams, while the amount of fish was dramatically lower, at roughly 60 grams. Meanwhile, about 150 grams of Lamb were eaten by people in a European nation. It was higher than the amount of chicken consumed, at below 150 grams. In 1989, the consumption of chicken increased to approximately 200 grams, whereas the other figures gradually went down.
In 2004, the quantity of Chicken eaten rose significantly to around 200 grams and became the highest figure compared to other food. By contrast, the consumptions of Beef and Lamb slightly declined to 120 grams and 60 grams, respectively. At the same time, the consumption of Fish remained steady, at approximately 50 grams.
