One of the topics of heated debates among experts is about what effects has media on human’s life. It is indisputably accepted that media is about communication and as human beings we all need communication. We need to be in touch with other people all around the world. Before there were newspapers, films, radios and televisions but in today’s world Internet and mobile phones expand our choice in terms of what we watch and who we talk to. Psychologists are of the point of view that exorbitance use of Internet has lots of afflicts on brain and young generation is becoming addicted to it.
At first glance I would like to mention some benefits of media, which are reaching to world’s news easily, studying online and sharing our ideas with our friends. These days media made it possible to contact our friends and families in the farthest place in a second. In the other hand with a small phone you can listen to music, connect to Internet, play games and watch videos.
Nowadays people even in very low ages have their own phones and laptops and every day we see people texting and chatting. One of the main drawbacks of media is when they don not have their laptop and mobiles with them they feel lack of something even if while they are at work or in a gathering.
It seams fair to assume that we cannot eliminate media and I personally believe that more that ninety percent of today’s world improvement is due to this kinds of technology. However humans should be aware about drawbacks of media on their lives and they must know how much it can get over them as a result they must control it.
