The below diagram illustrates how Australian Bureau of Meterology collects the weather information up-to-the-minute using with different information equipments.
First, the information is coming from the satellite. It gives one satellite photo. And using with this photo the Bureau of Meteorology is collecting some information for giving analysis and forecasting. After that the satellite is giving signals to radar. This radar is connect with the satellite. Later the radar is filtering the information using radar screen. Next radar is associate with drifting buoy it gives the synoptic chart. This chart is useful to calculate the weather.
After completed this total process who are telecast this information they are preparing to broadcast this information. Using with different broadcast equipment like TV,Radio etc. Using with news reader the TV and Radio are telecasting this information. The different between TV and Radio is that people can watch the news reader in TV and watch what is weather conditions. But in Radio it is only listening purpose people cann't watch it. Another equipment is telephone. People can know the information by telephone. It gives the recorded announcement.
