Write at least 150 words.
The bar chart illustrates the incidence of three integration challenges among 18-year-old people.
At a glance, age resulted a key factor on how challenges are perceived by single persons. In fact, whether people under 35 consider making friends as the main problem, people of other ages think that is more difficult to find somewhere to live or learning the local language. Precisely, the need to learn a new idiom is far more perceived by immigrants over 55, reaching 54%, whereas the same challenge didn’t reach 40% threshold in the remaining people categories.
Making friends and finding a place to live showed similar range of values, being 40% or over to people under 55 and then decreasing under 25% threshold to immigrants over 55. In detail, finding new friends is the main goal to young people (46%), while immigrants between 35 and 54 care mainly about the need to find a place to live.
In conclusion, it is clear that the need to learn a new language is perceived as a problem as people get old, while other challenges affect mainly immigrants from 18 to 54.
