The best way to teach is to praise positive actions and ignore negative ones.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.
The best method to teach the students is to give them the knowledge required to be successful, in any endeavor which the student chooses. Students are encouraged by the praising and they are demotivated by the ignoring. Positive action must certainly be praised but the negative actions should be ignored or criticized by appraising the negative actions. If they are not negative enough, so that person will realize his mistake by himself, then the criticizing is not necessary. If the case is other than this, the person must be criticized and brought about in the right path
When the positive action of the students are praised, they are encouraged to do more of the positive things. They continue to do the positive action, and in turn their life will be successful. When a student who is good at singing is praised, he develops the mentality to be the best. He thinks that the people like him and to continue to get praise for his work, he has to continually improve this talent and show his best talent to the world. He continually works hard to get the praise. This hard work will indeed make his life successful. The praise of the good action also provides the route to the sucessful. The person can feel whether he is in the way to success or not by seeing the reaction of the people to his action.
Similarly, when the negative things are ignored about the person, the person begins to feel that nobody appreciates his work, so he gradually begins to discontinue this negative action. He gradually will look for what things the people appreciate and work in that direction. It is in the best interest of the society. If the person realizes his mistake by himself and correct him himself. Other wise, the society has to use huge resources to correct them. Think of maintaing the cost of the jail by the society for the criminals. It would be certainly be beneficial, if the person realizes his mistake and correct himself.
Sometimes, the negative action has the great consequences, so that type of the action should be ctriticized. If they are not criticized, his action may affect the society as a whole and the society has to face bigger problems. A Student if engages in the pillage from the small age, then he may be the greatest criminal in the future. A society has the responsibility of criticizing his work and bringing him to the correct path. If we continue to ignore the bigger mistakes like the terrorism, then they will engulf the society before we could use any method to counteract them.
In conclusion, The good habits of the person should definitely be praised and the negative actions should be ignored or Criticized according the severity of the negative actions.
