The passage states that Buzzing, which is a new tactic used by companies for advertising, has generated a lot of controversies and critics provide three reasons of disagreement. The buzzer student, nevertheless, explains that these reasons are really misleading and has the wrong impression on people.
First, the reading claims that consumers should know whether a person praising a product is being paid to praise the product. Conversely, the buzzer opposes this point by saying that buzzing is not like ordinary advertising. He contends that this reason is not true and people will get the truth from buzzers and that is why the company hired him.
In addition, the article posits that consumers listen to their endorsements less critically that they should because buzzers pretend they are private individuals. On the other hand, the buzzer argues that this reason is not true and indeed the opposite of this reason is true. According to the buzzer, the consumers may ask a lot of questions about the products and if they do not like them, they will not buy the products.
Finally, the passage expresses that buzzing is likely to have a harmful effect on social relationships. Quite on the contrary, the buzzer emphasizes that it is a stupid idea. We also learn that consumers try to buy products because of this method in most trustful and spread honesty among people.
Thus, the buzzer disproves each of the author's reasons and try to show us buzzing is a good tactic of advertising for companies.
