You have recently started work in a new company.
Write a letter to your English-speaking friend. In your letter:
• Explain why changed jobs
• Describe your new job
• Tell him/her your other news
Dear Paul,
I hope you and your family are doing fine, it has been quite some time since we were together. I hope you and Carla can visit me soon, so that I can repay you the wonderful time I spent with folks the last time I visited you. I am writing this letter to let you know that I have a new job now as a supply chain supervisor in ABC Company.
The reason for leaving my previous job is that it was so boring. I kept performing the same task every day which was registering trucks plate numbers on the system. Although it was an easy job, I did not gain any value added experience. That is why I was searching for a new career opportunity for the past 2 months.
My new job is very exciting, I get to communicate and interact with different departments on daily basis. In addition, despite the fact that I am a new employee, I will be joining a lean sex sigma course next month. That course will be very beneficial for my career.
Furthermore, I am getting engaged to Susan next month. I believe you met her in your birthday party last summer. I will let you know the exact date once we agree on it.
Send my love to Carla,
Kinds Regards,
Muhammad
