The bar graph illustrates the information about how the both sex in particular US university chose subject to study among six separate given subjects in 2011.
Overall, male preferred to study science subjects such as engineering, programming and mathematics, while female took an interest in linguistics in 2000. A noticeable exception for natural sciences, which had the same figure in both genders.
According to the bar graph, almost all 200 of male chose mathematics, compared to only under 50 of female chose this subject, which was over four times in 2011. Likewise, exactly 150 of male study programming and engineering, the number of female opt for programming and engineering observed the similar figure, at under 90.
In 2011, precisely 200 in each gender was recorded in 2000. Meanwhile, the amount of male chose psychology as the main subject constituted exactly 200, which was 25 more than that of the sex counterpart. By contrast, approximately 110 female studied linguistics, in comparison with the other sex, which made up 80 in the same period.
