The maps demonstrate the development plan for a town named Islip in its center. As can be seen from the maps, the main road will be improved and the urban area will be extended to country side.
To begin with, a dual carriageway will be built around the town to replace original middle main road, which will allow for pedestrians only. After the construction, the Park area will be decreased, the housing area will be separated into two parts, and there will be a new housing area next to the left side of the park. In addition, the government will offer a slightly larger area for school.
It is also interested to note that, in the north part of the center, all shops will be teared down and will be replaced by a bus station, a shopping center, car park and another new housing area, which will be connected to the dual carriageway by a curved street. After that, the new area will be bigger and cover some original countryside.
To sum up, there will be more area for housing and some new facilities will open to the local habitants.
