10 February 2018
Dear Sir or Madam,
I rent a flat according to the lease contract 231/17 of 10 July 2017. I am writing to report numerous problems with some pieces of furniture in the rented flat. I would like to request assistance in remedying the situation.
To start with, here is a short introduction. I am a tenant and live in the three-bedroom flat which is located on Buckleigh Street, 12, with my family which consists of my wife, two children and a cat. We have been living there since last Summer, which was when we made our lease agreement.
Next, let me provide an explanation of the three major issues regarding the furniture that I feel are wrong. To begin with, the table in the kitchen is relatively small for our family; moreover, all four chairs in the kitchen are old and creaks; and, finally, the sofa in the living room has recently broken: one of its front legs has broken down into two parts.
Given the gravity of the situation, I would be immensely grateful if you could make the necessary arrangements to provide me with following: first, to replace the current table with a bigger one; second, to change all chairs with newer ones; and, third, to repair the sofa or give the information about whether it is allowed to repair it by myself. I would genuinely appreciate if action were taken as fast as possible.
I look forward to hearing from you at the soonest opportunity.
Yours faithfully,
Evgeny Ivashko (Mr)
